Global Campaign
On March 22, civil society organizations launched a 5-year global campaign aimed at strengthening and supporting the concept of adult learning and education (ale).
"We are a global alliance of networks, associations and organizations working in the field of adult education and training. We believe that adult education promotes justice, well-being and change. While the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda recognizes the importance of lifelong learning (LLL), the most important part of continuing education, adult learning and education, is largely invisible. In order for it to be seen, understood and appreciated, we need to advocate for it to be more involved in the development of this area by governments, donors, the private sector, international organizations and social movements, ”reads the campaign website.
