2021 Annual Summary Event
On December 15 of the current year, the year-end event of the A (A) IP Adult Education Network of Georgia was held.
The event was opened by the director of the organization Nino Babalashvili and presented to the invited guests a report on the work done by the network during 2021.
The guest of honor of the event was the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia, His Excellency Mr. Hubert Knir. The Ambassador addressed the audience and reiterated the importance and benefits of adult education.
Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the National Center for Education Quality Development, the Skills Agency and other donor organizations were also invited to the meeting.
Mr. Kakhaber Eradze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Education Quality Development, also positively assessed the activities carried out by the network in his speech as one of the best practices.
The screening of the film "Georgian VHS: The Path to Happiness" commissioned by the DVV International Georgia office was held at the event.
At the end of the meeting, the awarding of the winning member centers of the network was held.
The winners in the nominations were:
- The best beneficiary of the year - Marekhi Kasradze, beneficiary of the Code Community Education Center
- The best trainer of the year - Leliani Adult Education Center trainer - Mariam Merabishvili
-Best Partner Municipality of the Year -Senaki Municipality
-Best Center of the Year- Leliani Adult Education Center
Certificates were awarded to the winners of the creative competition "Lifelong Learning".
Ms. Mzia Todria and Ms. Ana Kalaijishvili, the implementers of the Chokhatauri and Akhaltsikhe Centers, received certificates of appreciation for the successful implementation of the vocational training program "Light Sewing".
